Solar hot water is possible in any climate, solar hot water can easily heat 80-100% of your household hot water year round. (Think of the savings that means in convential heating). During the 300 sunny days of the year, with the proper system,solar hot water can provide 100% of household water. It is possible in the raining season, it may only provide 80% and you may need to supplement with conventional water heating. Yet even after 2 cloudy days, you will find you still have warm water!

Sunlight is free, so once you've paid for the initial cost your hot water costs are free or reduced by aproximately 80% for aproximately the next 12+ years.
